Our Story

My name is Stacie, and I’ve been a stay-at-home mum for the past 12 years, raising 4 neurodivergent children with AuDHD (Autism and ADHD)

I am now Fully Qualified to be a SEND advocate so I can support parents who are walking a similar path.

a bit about me

NorthStar Advocacy was created from a lived experience and a passion for supporting families navigating the SEND system.

As a parent of four neurodivergent children with AuDHD (Autism and ADHD), I understand first-hand how challenging and overwhelming the process can be. Our families journey has included securing EHCPS, attending SEND tribunals and accessing specialist school placements.

Through this experience, I have developed a deep understanding of how difficult the system can feel for parents trying to secure the right support for their children.

NorthStar advocacy combines lived experiences with training as a SEND advocate to help families feel more informed, supported and confident when navigating the SEND journey.

Every child deserves the right support, and every family deserves to feel heard.

Alongside working with families i am now fully trained to help Neurodivergent Adults navigating their own journeys.

Whether it’s help with job applications, understanding rights, PIP assessments, work place challenges or everyday situations that feel overwhelming, i provide clear, supportive guidance tailored to the individual.

Because support shouldn’t stop at childhood - everyone deserves to feel understood, confident and supported at every stage.
